§ 13:1K-13 — 1 Violations; actions, penalties.

New Jersey·Title 13 CONSERVATION AND DEVELOPMENT--PARKS AND RESERVATIONS

3. a. Whenever the Commissioner of Environmental Protection finds that a person has violated any provision of this act, or any rule or regulation adopted pursuant thereto, or knowingly makes a false statement, representation, or certification in any application, record, or other document filed or required to be maintained pursuant to P.L.1983, c.330 (C.13:1K-6 et al.), the commissioner may:

(1)issue an order requiring the person found to be in violation to comply in accordance with subsection b. of this section;
(2)bring a civil action in accordance with subsection c. of this section;
(3)levy a civil administrative penalty in accordance with subsection d. of this section; or (4) bring an action for a civil penalty in accordance with subsection e. of this section. Pursuit of any of the r
