Text

The director shall: a. Be subject to the rules and regulations of the board; b. Exercise general supervision over all projects relating to the commerce and navigation within and about the state, and all work in any way relating thereto; c. Be charged with the enforcement of all laws relating to the powers and duties of the board and to the commerce and navigation of the state and also all rules and regulations made by the board; and d. Obtain, collect and preserve such information relating to the state's commerce and navigation and to the ways and means by which the same may be advanced, and also relating to the work of the department as may be useful in the discharge of his duties, or which may contribute to promote the interests of the state.
