Any reference to a section or sections of Title 2 or Title 3 of the Revised Statutes as amended and supplemented, included in any other title of the Revised Statutes as amended and supplemented, or in any other statute which became effective prior to the effective date of the adoption of Title 2A, Administration of Civil and Criminal Justice, as revised in one thousand nine hundred and fifty-one and Title 3A, Administration of Estates--Decedents and Others, as revised in one thousand nine hundred and fifty-one, and still remains in effect, shall be given effect on and after the date of the adoption of the said supplements to the Revised Statutes, consisting of Title 2A, Administration of Civil and Criminal Justice, as revised in one thousand nine hundred and fifty-one, and Title 3A, Admini
