Where any such statute contains a reference to any proceeding under the former prerogative writs the reference shall be given effect, on and after September fifteenth, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight, as though it were to a proceeding in lieu of the prerogative writs provided for by the Rules made and promulgated by the Supreme Court. L.1948, c. 375, p. 1544, s. 2.
