§ 511:21-a — Corporate Securities

A security may be attached or levied upon as provided in RSA 382-A:8-112. Whenever jurisdiction exists over the person of a debtor who owns a security and the sheriff or deputy to whom a creditor has delivered process for the attachment of or levy upon such security is unable to seize or take possession of the same, the superior court, upon application of the creditor and with or without notice to the debtor, may issue a mandatory order enjoining the debtor from transferring or encumbering such security and directing the debtor to surrender such security to the sheriff or his deputy within a time limit to be set forth in the order, for the purpose of enabling such officer to attach or levy upon the same.
