Text
The deputy secretary of state before entering upon the duties of his office shall take the oaths required by article 84 of the constitution, and give bond in the sum of $10,000, with sufficient sureties to the satisfaction of the governor and council, for the faithful and punctual performance of such duties. He may be removed by the secretary.
