In this chapter: I. "Guidelines" means, if available, research-based, specific, practitioner-focused veterans court guidance published by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, National Association of Drug Court Professionals, and other relevant state and federal agencies and organizations. II. "Coordinator" means the veterans court coordinator or designee within the administrative office of the courts. III. "Veteran" means:

(a)A current or former member of the active or reserve components of the United States Army, United States Navy, United States Air Force, United States Marine Corps, United States Space Force, or United States Coast Guard;
(b)A current or former member of the New Hampshire National Guard;
