Text
No non-group accident or health insurance contract, authorized under this chapter, may be cancelled or nonrenewed by the health service corporation except for nonpayment of premium, unless the insured receives either a notice of cancellation or nonrenewal or an offer of renewal in accordance with this section. The notice of cancellation or nonrenewal or offer of renewal shall be delivered to the insured or mailed to the insured's last address as shown in the records of the health service corporation at least 30 days prior to the renewal date of the contract.
