Text
A person who directly or indirectly underwrites, collects charges or premiums from, or adjusts or settles claims on residents of this state, and who is not otherwise required to obtain a certificate of authority or license in connection with life, annuity, or health coverage provided by a self-funded plan shall register with the commissioner by March 1 of each year, verifying its status as herein described. The registration requirement shall not apply to those persons or entities that are specifically exempted by RSA 402-H:1, I. Registrants under this section shall not be required to hold a certificate of authority as an administrator in this state or to meet the other requirements of this chapter.
