Text

(a)The commissioner may examine New Hampshire branch offices of (i) foreign banks, other than national banks and federal savings banks, and (ii) foreign bank holding companies. The commissioner may, as an adjunct to such authority, enter into agreements with federal and other state regulatory authorities to examine or participate in the examination of New Hampshire branch offices of foreign banks and foreign bank holding companies. Notwithstanding RSA 98-B:5, or any other provision of law to the contrary, the commissioner is authorized to permit one or more department employees to travel outside this state for purposes of conducting or participating in the examination of a foreign bank or foreign bank holding companies without the necessity of obtaining the separate consent of the governo
