Text
No member of the commission shall render any professional service for any public utility in this state, or any affiliate thereof, or act as attorney or render professional service against any such public utility or affiliate; nor shall he be a member of a firm which renders any such service; nor shall he directly or indirectly be a party to any contract with any such public utility, except a contract for the transportation of telephone or telegraph messages, or a contract for the purchase of water, gas or electricity or for other similar service.
