§ 33:5-b — Voluntary Projects

New Hampshire·Title III TOWNS, CITIES, VILLAGE DISTRICTS, AND UNINCORPORATED PLACES·Ch. 33 MUNICIPAL FINANCE ACT
Any city, town, village district, or other political subdivision may vote to incur debt for the purpose of installing a sewage disposal plant including treatment works or sewerage facilities or thereof, although at the time of such vote it has not received an order from the department of environmental services directing such installation under RSA 147, RSA 485, or RSA 485-A. Any such debt shall at no time be included in the net indebtedness of said city, town, village district, or other political subdivision for the purpose of ascertaining its borrowing capacity provided the approval of the governor and council hereinafter provided for is obtained.
