Text
Applicants for license renewal and license reinstatement shall complete continuing education as follows:
I.An LNA shall complete 12 hours of continuing education in programs approved by the board each year, provided that licensees who hold a certificate of medication administration shall complete at least 4 hours of those 12 hours in medication administration.
II.An LPN or an RN shall complete 30 hours of continuing education every 2 years.
III.An APRN, in addition to the continuing education requirements to renew or reinstate a license as an RN, shall complete 30 hours of continuing education every 2 years, 20 hours of which shall be specific to the specialty for which renewal or reinstatement is sought, and 5 hours of which shall be training in pharmacology appropriate to the specialt
