There shall be a pharmacy board consisting of 7 members; including 5 practicing pharmacists, at least one of whom shall be a full-time hospital pharmacist, one pharmacy technician, and one public member, each to be appointed by the governor, with the approval of the council, to a term of 5 years. No member shall be appointed to more than 2 consecutive terms and no member shall serve for more than 10 consecutive years. Only board members provided for in this section shall have the authority to vote in board determinations. The public member shall be a resident of the state of New Hampshire who is not, and never has been, a member of the pharmacy profession or the spouse of any such person.
