Text
I.A dental hygienist licensed under this chapter, or a dental assistant may obtain a permit from the office of professional licensure and certification to practice as an expanded function dental auxiliary by submitting an application to the office and completing additional educational and training requirements as required in rules adopted by the board.
II.An expanded function dental auxiliary shall work under the supervision of an actively licensed dentist.
III.The board shall adopt rules under RSA 317-A:12, XII-d regarding application and permit requirements, educational requirements, level of supervision requirements, and scope of practice requirements relating to expanded function dental auxiliaries.
