Text

Historic burial grounds and cemeteries, including their markers, walls, gates, and other associated and identifying features and artifacts, are meaningful to the history, historic landscape, cultural, religious, craft and architectural traditions of the state; were established prior to January 1, 1950; and are consistent with the definitions of "burial ground" and "cemetery" established in RSA 289:1. Cemetery trustees may, in cooperation with non-governmental organizations, provide information relative to the location of historic burial grounds and cemeteries to such organizations for the inclusion in their online and other databases accessible for public use.
