Text
The commissioner, in consultation with the commissioner of health and human services, shall adopt rules, pursuant to RSA 541-A, to protect health care workers in the public sector from occupational exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials. These rules shall not be inconsistent with the bloodborne pathogen regulations adopted for the private sector by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration within the United States Department of Labor.
