Text
Nothing in this chapter shall prohibit any person who is 16 years of age or older from attending a safe boater education course approved by the commissioner under this subdivision and obtaining a safe boater education certificate upon successful completion of the safe boater education course, prior to dates indicated on the phase-in schedule.
