Text

Any person whose driver's license or registration certificates or other privilege to drive a vehicle has been suspended or revoked, restoration thereof or the issuance of a new license or registration being contingent upon the furnishing of security or proof of financial responsibility, and who during such suspension or revocation or in the absence of full authorization from the director, shall drive any vehicle upon any way or knowingly permit any such vehicle owned by him to be driven by another upon any way, except as permitted hereunder, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor if a natural person, or guilty of a felony if any other person.
