In the event the state police in the interest of public safety and pursuant to applicable statutes and rules, including but not limited to clearing roads and entrances of disabled or abandoned vehicles, seeks to tow any vehicle, the tow company responsible for removal and storage shall be chosen from a tow list in accordance with RSA 106-B:26 through RSA 106-B:34.
