Text

Residents who are without a permanent street address at the time of re-registration because they are traveling outside of the state in recreational vehicles for a period of up to 2 years may renew a vehicle registration by completing a written attestation of residency and providing a letter from an adult property-owning resident of the municipality who agrees to act as the person's mailing address for purposes of contact by the department. Residency for the purposes of this section shall be defined as intention to return to the municipality after a period of time not to exceed 2 years.
