I. The department shall be paid the following fees: [Paragraph I(a) effective until January 1, 2026; see also paragraph I(a) set out below.]
(a)For filing an application for a first certificate of title, with or without a lienholder named, $25;

(a)For filing an application for a first certificate of title, with or without a lienholder named, $35;
[Paragraph I(b) effective until January 1, 2026; see also paragraph I(b) set out below.]
(b)For a certificate of title after a transfer, with or without a lienholder named, $25;
