Text
I.The department may issue a certified copy of any certificate of registration, or of any license to drive motor vehicles which may have been lost or mutilated, upon the written request of the person entitled thereto and the payment of the prescribed fee, and such certified copy shall have the same force and effect as the original.
II.The department may issue a copy of any motor vehicle record upon the request of an insurance company or any other authorized agent, and notwithstanding RSA 91-A shall require payment by the insurance company or authorized agent of a fee of $17, which shall be deposited in the fire standards and training and emergency medical services fund established in RSA 21-P:12-d.
