Text
No person shall operate or cause to be operated any motor vehicle at any time on or over any clam flats under the jurisdiction of this state. For the purposes of this section, clam flats are defined as any tidal area that is exposed at low tide and capable of growing clams. This section shall not apply in cases of emergency travel required in law enforcement or rescue operations nor when travel is authorized by the Pease development authority, division of ports and harbors or New Hampshire fish and game department for projects designed for the improvement of the natural resources of the state. Whoever violates this section is guilty of a violation, and his or her fish and game licenses shall be subject to revocation for a period not to exceed one year.
