Text

Notwithstanding the other provisions of this chapter, the executive director shall have the power and authority to close to hunting or fishing, or both, any area in which there is in his opinion foreseeable harm to property or it is in his opinion dangerous to human life to hunt or fish thereon, and he shall have the power and authority to close any season for the taking of fish in any area for not over 60 days for stocking or conservation purposes and 90 days to reclaim ponds in any calendar year when in his opinion such action shall be necessary for the protection or preservation of the fish in such area. Any rule, regulation or order of the executive director issued pursuant to this section shall take effect at such time as shall be stated therein and shall be given such publication as
