Text

The homeless prevention fund shall be administered so as to promote the following goals and objectives: I. Applications for the benefits provided under this subdivision shall be streamlined so as to enable the authority to provide assistance to the eligible households as quickly as practicable. II. The program shall be as flexible as possible in order to maximize housing opportunities for very low income people. III. Give priority to very low income persons or families who are:

(a)At households which include an employed person or a person in an employment training program.
(b)Households which include a minor child or children, and the household is homeless or at risk of homelessness due to severe rent burden.
(c)Households which are actually experiencing homelessness, and are currently
