Text

The commissioner shall adopt rules under RSA 541-A relative to the following: I. The acceptance, care and treatment of alcohol or drug dependent persons and alcohol or drug abusers who are clients of the program established under this chapter or a certified substance abuse treatment facility. II. A fee schedule and collection of fees under RSA 172:14, IV. III. Certification of substance abuse treatment facilities including, but not limited to:

(a)Program content;
(b)Qualifications of program staff; and
(c)Type of substance abuse treatment offered. IV. Certification and recertification of alcohol and drug abuse counselors including, but not limited to:
(a)Peer review of applicants.
(b)Minimum qualifications and competency.
(c)Education and continuing education.
(d)Experience required
