Text
It shall be the duty of any person, public official, society, or institution, placing any dependent or neglected child in any family home or institution, to give notice in writing to the commissioner within 10 days after such placing, stating the name of such child and the name, residence, or location of the person or institution with whom or in which such child is placed.
