Text

The fireward, engineer or fire chief may establish such regulations respecting the kindling, guarding, safe-keeping, prevention, and extinguishment of fires, and for the removal of combustibles from any building or place, as such individual shall think expedient, which shall be signed by such individual and recorded by the town clerk and posted in 2 or more public places in the town 30 days before they shall take effect. Each breach of such regulations shall constitute a violation. Such fireward, engineer or fire chief shall confer with recognized authorities and the state fire marshal, in the promulgation of such regulations.
