Text
Prior to the prorogation of any regular session of the legislature, the fiscal committee shall appoint a legislative budget assistant whose name shall be filed with the secretary of state. Said officer shall receive such salary as may be determined by the legislature and shall be reimbursed for actual expenses when engaged in the duties of his office.
