Text

I. There is hereby established the therapeutic cannabis medical oversight board which shall monitor and contribute to the oversight of the clinical, quality, and public health related matters of the use of cannabis for therapeutic purposes under this chapter. II. The board shall consist of the medical director, department of health and human services, or designee, a qualifying patient, appointed by the commissioner of the department, a clinical representative from an alternative treatment center, appointed by the commissioner, and 10 medical providers also appointed by the commissioner. The medical provider members shall represent the following fields:

(a)Neurology.
(b)Pain management.
(c)Oncology.
(d)Psychiatry.
(e)Pediatrics.
(f)Family or internal medicine.
(g)Obstetrics and gynec
