Where pipelines within the scope of this chapter are engaged in interstate transportation of
oil, coal, or gas, the commission shall act jointly and in conjunction with the supervisory body
which exercises jurisdiction over and control of such pipelines within any other state for the
purpose of control, supervision, making joint rates for interstate transportation of oil, coal, or
gas, or any other matters within the scope of this chapter.
