§ 44-10-19 — Jury called on request
If a jury is required as provided in section 44-10-18, the court forthwith, in a summary
manner, must cause a jury to be impaneled and the matter submitted to it. Challenges must be
allowed and the trial conducted in the same manner as a trial by jury in a civil action.
