Text
The width of lode claims is one hundred fifty feet [45.72 meters] on each side of the center
of the vein or crevice, except that any county, at any general election by a majority of the votes
cast on the question at such election, may determine upon a greater width not exceeding three
hundred feet [91.44 meters] on each side of the center of the vein or lode. By a like vote, any
county may determine upon a width less than that specified in this section, except that a width
of less than twenty-five feet [7.62 meters] on each side of the vein or lode is prohibited.
