Text
A veterinarian is immune from civil or criminal liability if the veterinarian, on the
veterinarian's own initiative or at the request of a law enforcement officer or other governmental
entity, renders emergency treatment to a sick or injured animal under this chapter. Immunity
under this section does not apply in the case of negligence.
