Any judgment rendered for damages against the defendant in an action brought under this
chapter is a lien upon the livestock committing the trespass if the livestock were distrained by
the plaintiff, and the livestock may be sold as in other cases of sale of personal property on
execution, and the proceeds of the sale applied to the satisfaction of the judgment, and the
livestock are not exempt from seizure and sale upon execution.
