The director may enter an agreement with the metro flood diversion authority regarding the
portion of the construction of the Fargo Moorhead metropolitan area flood risk management
project which will impact the state highway system. The agreement must address the
construction and maintenance of the parts of the project which need to be constructed and
maintained on the state highway system.
