Text
The holder of any bond payable to "bearer or registered owner", as authorized by section
21-03-18, issued by any municipality, may have the ownership thereof registered as to the
principal thereof by the county auditor, or in the case of a municipality of over four thousand
population, by the auditor or secretary of the municipality issuing the same, or such other officer
as the governing body of the municipality may determine. Registration by such officers must be
made in the bond register and must be noted on the bond.
