Text

(a)There is hereby created the North Carolina Council for Women and Youth Involvement of the Department of Administration. The Council shall perform the following functions and duties:
(1)Advise the Governor, the principal State departments, and the State legislature concerning the education and employment of women in the State of North Carolina. (1a) Advise the Governor or Secretary of Administration upon any matter relating to the following programs and organizations: a. North Carolina Internship Council and the North Carolina State Government Internship Program. b. SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions). c. State Youth Councils.
(2)Advise the Secretary of Administration upon any matter the Secretary may refer to the Council.
(3)Repealed by Session Laws 2013-30.2(b), effective
