Each school shall adopt a school calendar that includes a minimum of 180 days and 1,000 hours of instruction covering at least nine calendar months. In the development of its school calendar, each school shall consult with parents, the residential school personnel, and the local school administrative unit in which that school is located. (1998-131, s. 5.) § 143B-146.12: Repealed by Session Laws 2011-145, s. 7.13(v), effective July 1, 2011.
