Text
The Governor shall determine and fix the location of the units and headquarters of the North Carolina National Guard within the State; but no organization of the North Carolina National Guard, members of which shall be entitled to and shall have received compensation under the provisions of the act of Congress approved June 3, 1916, as amended, shall be disbanded without the consent of the President, nor without that consent shall the commissioned or enlisted strength of any such organization be reduced below the minimum that is now or shall be hereafter prescribed therefor by the President.
