§ 85-9-630 — Refunding Bonds
85-9-630 . Refunding bonds.
(1)Refunding bonds may be issued in the same way as any other bonds authorized by this chapter.
(2)All bonds, original issue or refunding issue, shall be redeemable when one-half of the term or 10 years of the term for which they were issued, whichever may be the less, has expired. Redemption may be made on any interest due date of any bond prior to its maturity after the bond shall be subject to redemption as herein provided. The right of redemption, as herein provided, must be stated on the face of each bond.
