85-9-502 . Annexation of property.
(1)To annex real property to the district, the procedure is as follows:
(a)The directors shall petition the court.
(b)The petition must:
(i)give a general description of the real property to be annexed sufficient to enable a person to determine if the person's property is in the proposed annexation; and
(ii)describe the benefits to accrue to the real property as a result of the annexation.
(2)The court shall:
(a)give notice and hold a hearing on the petition; and
(b)upon good cause shown, order or deny the annexation.
