85-9-409 . Participation in federal programs. A district organized under this chapter, by itself or in conjunction with others as a sponsoring organization, may participate in all federal programs, including but not limited to the Watershed Protection and Flood Prevention Act of 1954 (68 Stat. 666), the federal Water Project Recreation Act of 1965 (79 Stat. 213), the federal Reclamation Act of 1902 (32 Stat. 388), and amendments to those acts.
