50-71-115 . Applicability of standards -- exceptions.
(1)The standards for safety and health and the enforcement rules adopted pursuant to this part apply to all public sector employers in this state and to public sector employees.
(2)The standards and enforcement rules adopted pursuant to this part do not apply to employment by:
(a)private sector employers;
(b)the federal government and its instrumentalities; or
(c)a federally recognized tribal government.
