15-70-131 . Securing access to federal expenditures to repair Montana roads and bridges.

(1)There is a securing access to federal expenditures to repair Montana roads and bridges account in the state special revenue fund provided for in 17-2-102 .
(2)Funds in this account are statutorily appropriated, as provided in 17-7-502 , to the department of transportation for:
(a)providing state match for additional federal funds allocated to the department through federal redistribution; and
(b)providing state match for discretionary grants awarded to the department.
(3)(a) Total expenditures for state match authorized under this section may not exceed $15 million in a fiscal year.
