§ 85-6-103 — Transfer Of Shares Of Stock
85-6-103 . Transfer of shares of stock. Shares of stock of water users' associations organized in conformity with the requirements of the laws of the United States and the state of Montana and under the Reclamation Act of June 17, 1902, (which shares of stock, by the articles of incorporation of said association, are inseparably appurtenant to the lands for which they are subscribed) shall, upon the presentation of proof to such association of the transfer of any of said land, be transferred on the books of said association, by the proper officers of the association, to the grantee or successor in title to said land.
