7-5-2303 . Use of public auction to make purchase.

(1)In lieu of soliciting bids, the governing body may purchase at public auction any vehicle, road machinery or other machinery, apparatus, appliances, equipment, or materials or supplies for an amount less than $150,000.
(2)Compliance with the provisions of this section is considered as meeting the requirements of 7-5-2301 .
