§ 42-5-205 — Foreign Adoption Decrees
42-5-205 . Foreign adoption decrees. When the relationship of parent and child has been created by a decree of adoption of a court of any other state or country, the rights and obligations of the parties as to matters within the jurisdiction of this state must be determined pursuant to this title.
