Text
40-5-313 . Obligor rights protected -- penalties.
(1)An employer may not discharge, discipline, or refuse to hire a person because:
(a)the person has a child support obligation;
(b)a withholding order has been issued for the person's income; or
(c)proceedings have been initiated under this part.
(2)An employer who violates the provisions of this section may be fined not more than $100.
